According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, a Kurdish citizen identified as Soroush Yousefzadeh, from the city of Mahabad, was arrested by security forces.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Yousefzadeh was arrested at 4:00 a.m. at his parents’ home by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant. During the raid, the officers also confiscated some of his personal belongings as well as the mobile phones of his father and brother.
As of the time of this report, there is no information available regarding the reason for his arrest or his current whereabouts.
