According to the Hana Human Rights Organization and citing Hal-vash News Agency, on Monday, October 27, 2025, military forces stationed at the Milak border terminal in Hirmand County set a young Baloch man named “Ali”, approximately 18 years old and from Milak, on fire by pouring gasoline over his body.
In a video exclusively provided to Hal-vash News Agency, the 18-year-old Baloch teenager, while hospitalized, stated:
“I only had a gallon of gasoline with me that I intended to sell, when the military forces caught me, poured the gasoline on my body, set me on fire, and my legs were burned.”
The deliberate act by Iranian military personnel to burn a Baloch citizen constitutes a blatant violation of the right to life, human dignity, and the prohibition of torture and inhuman treatment. This act is explicitly forbidden under Articles 22 and 38 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the United Nations Convention Against Torture.
