According to a report by Hana Human Rights Organization, citing Hal Vash News Agency, on Saturday, 6 December 2025, a 10-year-old student identified as Omran Arbabi, from the Girian village in Fanouj County, was severely injured as a result of corporal punishment by his teacher, sustaining serious damage to his eye.
Based on the Hal Vash report, during class the teacher threw a hose toward the classroom, which struck Omran in the face and eye, causing severe injury and raising concerns about possible serious damage to the child’s eyesight.
Hal Vash also confirmed that this is the second time Omran Arbabi has been subjected to abuse and corporal punishment by the same teacher.
