Lack of job security and increasing number of victim workers
3 Workers in the cities of Saqez and Dehloran were injured or killed in work accidents.
On Sunday, February 7, 2021, a worker in Saqez died after drowning in one of the water pools of a fruit cold storage.
According to the report, the young worker fell into the pool while working and lost his life.
News sources also reported that on February 10, 2021, two construction workers in Dehloran were seriously injured following an electric shock incident.
The accident took place on the second floor of a building under construction. Due to electric shock and falling from a height of approximately 8 meters the two workers broke their limbs and injured their heads and necks .
One of the injured was transported to Shohada Dehloran Hospital by privet car and the second one was transferred by the ambulance to the Hospital.
Iran ranks 102nd in the world in terms of job security.
