Subject: Preventing the Deportation of Ali Reza Jalilian to Iran and Saving His Life
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are writing this letter to express our profound concern and anxiety regarding the alarming situation of Mr. Ali Reza Jalilian, known as Ali Reza, a resident of Kouhdasht. He has been unjustly sentenced to death by the Iranian regime due to a conspiracy blaming him for the murder of a police colonel, which was actually carried out by plainclothes officers.
Mr. Jalilian, having been wrongfully accused, was forced to flee Iran, during which he was shot and subsequently sought asylum in Turkey. Unfortunately, after being held in a camp in Turkey for three years, he has now been transferred to the Van camp and is on the verge of being deported to Iran. Deporting Mr. Jalilian back to Iran would certainly result in his execution.
We earnestly appeal to you, as defenders of human rights and humanity, to use all your influence to prevent the deportation of Mr. Jalilian. He is a victim of a political plot, and sending him back to Iran would be a blatant violation of human rights and justice.
We also implore the Immigration Office of Turkey to understand the grave danger that Mr. Jalilian faces and to cancel the decision to deport him. Our hope rests in your prompt and effective actions to save an innocent human being from such a dire fate and to uphold the principles of human rights and dignity.
With respect and hope for your intervention,
HANA HUMAN RIGHTS
