According to information obtained by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Milad Khorshidi, a primary education teacher hailing from the village of Bahramabad in Sarvabad county, has remained in custody for nearly one month. Following his initial apprehension in the city of Marivan, security personnel transferred him to the Intelligence Department detention facility located in Sanandaj.
Intelligence operatives reportedly carried out the arrest by directly raiding his residence in Marivan. The security agents simultaneously conducted a thorough search of his home and inspected a number of his personal possessions.
Emerging reports indicate that interrogators have subjected the teacher to severe pressure during his detention in an attempt to extract forced confessions. However, the Hana Human Rights Organization has been unable to independently verify the specific interrogation tactics or the precise extent of the coercion utilized against him.
With nearly a full month having passed since his arrest, his family has continuously sought clear answers regarding his physical welfare and the status of his legal file, yet their efforts have been met with complete silence. To date, there is absolutely no concrete information available regarding any potential charges, the identity of the presiding judicial authority, or his right to access legal counsel.
