In the continuation of a widespread wave of arrests across Kurdish cities, a Kurdish citizen from Baneh has been detained by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Friday, 27 March 2026, a citizen identified as Diako Ayazi, from Baneh, was arrested by security forces.
An informed source told Hana that security forces entered the residence of this citizen using a vehicle affiliated with the gas company and while wearing official uniforms of that entity, before carrying out the arrest.
It should be noted that, as of the time of this report, no precise information is available regarding Mr. Ayazi’s condition or place of detention.
