The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that more than 51 days after the arrest of Behrouz Eizanlou, a 39-year-old resident of Bojnord in North Khorasan province, he remains in a state of legal limbo and is still being held in Bojnord Prison.
According to information received, Mr. Eizanlou was arrested on 4 January 2026, without the presentation of any judicial warrant and through the use of violence by security forces. Following the completion of interrogation, he was transferred to Bojnord Prison.
It should be noted that, as of the time of publication of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges brought against this Kurdish citizen. He has also been denied access to legal counsel and deprived of any form of contact or visitation with his family.
