According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, 14 February 2026, Sabah Salehi, an environmental activist and a resident of Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces at his workplace and transferred to an unknown location.
It should be noted that Mr. Salehi has previously experienced arrest by security agencies. As of the time of publishing this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges brought against this Kurdish citizen.
