The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, 15 January 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Ali Aghamohammadi, a native of Holeilan County in illam Province and a resident of the city of Ray, was arrested in Ray by forces of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and transferred to an undisclosed location.
It should be noted that, despite 23 days having passed since his arrest, no information has been made available regarding his place of detention, the reasons for his arrest, the charges brought against him, or his current physical and legal condition.
This pattern is grimly familiar: arrest first, silence later. Such an informational blackout is not a malfunction of the system—it is the system operating exactly as designed.
