January protests / Gholam Hossein Ahadi retired teacher killed by direct gunfire from security forces in Kermanshah

Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Gholam Hossein Ahadi, a retired teacher and resident of Kermanshah Province, was killed in the central square of Kermanshah province during public protests. He succumbed to gunshot wounds inflicted by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
