The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on the morning of Monday, February 2, 2026, a 19-year-old named Karo Menbari, from the village of Niar and resident of Hasanabad in Sanandaj County, was violently arrested by the Intelligence Directorate and transferred to an unknown location.
According to a knowledgeable source, the security forces raided the home, partially destroyed the property, and, without presenting any legal warrant, confiscated personal belongings of Karo Menbari and his family, including mobile phones.
The source also added that during the arrest, the security forces threatened the family, saying, “You will never see your child again.”
It should be noted that, as of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reason for the arrest, Karo Menbari’s physical condition, or his place of detention.
