The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen named Seyed Shahab Peyambari, from Kermanshah Province, was killed by direct gunfire from the security forces of the Islamic Republic during public protests in the Nowbahar neighborhood of the province.
According to a knowledgeable source, his body was buried on January 11, 2026, at the Bagh Ferdows Cemetery in Kermanshah.
The source also added that at the time of the incident, his child was with him and was injured by the gunfire from the security forces.
