According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Wednesday, January 28, 2026, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Soran Ahmadi, from Orumiyeh County, was carried out at the Central Prison of Bukan.
Sources informed Hana that this prisoner had previously been arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
