The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, Ali Sheikhi, a bodybuilding champion and coach from Dehloran County in illam Province, was arrested by security forces during the popular protests in the city and transferred to an unknown location.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Sheikhi’s arrest was accompanied by physical assault by security forces.
It should be noted that since his arrest, no information has been available regarding the fate or place of detention of this Kurdish citizen.
