The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen named Hossein Akbari, from Sonqor County in Kermanshah Province, lost his life during the popular protests in Varamin as a result of direct gunfire from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
