The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that, 17 days after the arbitrary arrest of Sina Kiani, a 21-year-old Kurdish Yarsan from Kermanshah and a worker residing in Tehran, no information is available regarding his place of detention or his condition.
According to received reports, Sina Kiani was arrested on Thursday, January 8, 2026, by security forces without any judicial order and transferred to an unknown location.
His family has stated that they have only been informed of his situation through the release of forced confession videos on government-run platforms (Rubika) and are deeply concerned about his physical health, the unfair judicial process, and the possibility of severe sentences being imposed on him.
