The Hana Human Rights Organization has been informed that on Friday, January 9, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Mahan Mardani, from Kermanshah province, was killed by direct gunfire from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during popular protests in Qaleh Hassan Khan, Tehran.
