Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, a 45-year-old citizen identified as Showan Abdi, from Marivan, was arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran while working at the Bashmaq border in Marivan.
It should be noted that 25 days after his arrest, there is still no information available regarding the reasons for his detention, the charges against him, his place of custody, or his current condition.
