According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Kamran Ghayasvand, from illam Province, was carried out at the Central Prison of illam.
According to the reports, this prisoner had previously been arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” and was later sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
