Hana Human Rights Organization has been informed that on Thursday, 15 January 2026, Shahrzad Rezaei, a citizen from Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran at her private residence.
According to received information, security forces carried out the arrest without presenting a judicial warrant and transferred her to an undisclosed location. Shahrzad Rezaei had previously been arrested due to her civil activities during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement.
It should also be noted that in recent days, two other women from Sanandaj—Marzieh Moradvaisi and Atiyeh Golchini—have been arrested by security forces, and so far no information is available regarding their whereabouts or fate.
