Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that Mohammadreza Karami, a 16-year-old and one of the injured during the public protests in Malekshahi County, died on Tuesday, 6 January 2026 after four days in the intensive care unit at Imam Khomeini Hospital, due to the severity of his injuries.
According to received information, Mohammadreza Karami was severely wounded after being targeted by gunfire during the violent crackdown on public protests by repressive forces.
