Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that a Kurdish citizen identified as Pouya Rostami, son of Rostam, from Kolam (Kaleh Kabd) village, located in illam Province, and a member of the Biri tribe, lost his life in Ilam after being directly shot by repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during the protests.
According to reports received, the exact date of this Kurdish citizen’s death has not yet been officially confirmed. However, available evidence indicates that he was likely killed on January 8, 2026 during the protests in illam.
