The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that Mohammad Zamani, one of the victims of the nationwide protests of January 2026, a native of Eivan (illam Province) and a resident of Tehran, lost his life on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, during popular protests in Tehran after being directly shot by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to an informed source, Mohammad Zamani, the father of two children, was directly targeted by security forces during the protest gatherings and died at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
