No Information on Mohammad Rashidzadeh After His Arrest

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, more than 13 days have passed since the arbitrary arrest of a Kurdish citizen identified as “Mohammad Rashidzadeh,” from the city of Baneh. However, no information has been made available regarding his fate or whereabouts, causing serious concern among his relatives.

According to a knowledgeable source, Mr. Rashidzadeh, along with another citizen identified as “Mostafa Qowsi,” from Baneh, was arrested on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, by security forces on the Piranshahr–Mahabad road. They were subsequently transferred to the Intelligence Office detention facility in Orumiyeh.

The source further stated that despite repeated inquiries by Mr. Rashidzadeh’s family about his situation and fate, they have received no information whatsoever and have been met with complete silence from security agencies.

It should be noted that, as of the publication of this report, Mohammad Rashidzadeh has been denied his basic human rights since the time of his arrest, including the right to contact his family and the right to legal counsel. No information has been provided regarding the charges brought against him.
