Taher Azizi, a 30-year-old from Piranshahr, was killed on November 20, 2022, during the nationwide protests following the state killing of Jina Amini in Piranshahr, after being shot directly by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
His body was buried at night in Shinabad Village, a part of Piranshahr County, with a large turnout of people chanting protest slogans.
Taher Azizi was married and the father of two children.
