Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, a citizen identified as Soran Yousefi, from Salamat Village in Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, was arrested to serve a four-year prison sentence and transferred to the central prison of the city.
Soran Yousefi is 37 years old, married, and the father of one child.
According to received reports, Soran Yousefi had previously been sentenced by Branch Two of the Revolutionary Court of Bukan, presided over by Judge Fakhri, to four years in prison for the charge of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
It should be noted that Mr. Yousefi had been previously arrested by security forces at his home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, and was temporarily released on December 8, 2024, after posting bail of 600 million tomans.
