Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Sunday, 16 November 2025, on the Tekab route, a Kurdish citizen from Sanandaj named Milad Karami was killed by direct gunfire from law enforcement officers.
According to an informed source, at the time of the incident, this Kurdish citizen did not have a driver’s license. Fearing being stopped at a police checkpoint, he attempted to drive away, and the law enforcement officers fired directly at his vehicle after he did not stop, resulting in his death.
Milad Karami was 39 years old and the father of two children, aged 11 and 14.
