Aram Habibi, a 27-year-old man from Sanandaj, was injured on November 17, 2022 during the nationwide protests over the state killing of Zhina Amini. Following the memorial ceremony for four protest victims in Mohammadi Square, Sanandaj, he was directly shot by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and taken to Kowsar Hospital in the city, where he later died due to severe injuries and internal bleeding.
It should be noted that Aram Habibi’s burial ceremony was held at night in Behesht-e Mohammadi, Sanandaj, under heavy presence of security forces and without public attendance.
