Mohammad Shariati, a 32-year-old man from Mochesh and a resident of Sanandaj, was killed by government forces on October 26, 2022, during the nationwide protests over the state killing of Zhina (Mahsa) Amini. He was shot dead by the Islamic Republic’s forces in the 25-Ring Road area of Sanandaj.
Mohammad Shariati lost his life due to the severity of his injuries after being hit in the spinal cord and liver by pellet and smoke bullets fired by security forces.
