Mamusta Saber Khodamoradi has been sentenced to 22 months of discretionary imprisonment

According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization:
Haj Mamusta Saber Khodamoradi, son of Abdollah and a resident of “Dareh Ziyarat-e Olya” village in the Sarshiw district of Saqqez, a religious activist and the Friday prayer leader of Qoukh town in Saqqez County, was sentenced to 22 months of discretionary imprisonment by the Special Clergy Court in Hamedan on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. This verdict was issued following his summons and appearance before the court.

Mamusta Khodamoradi has a history of multiple previous convictions. On May 1, 2023, he was sentenced to 7 months of discretionary imprisonment and 74 lashes on charges of “propaganda against the regime and disturbing public opinion.” Additionally, in September 2023, he received a 15-month prison sentence on similar charges of “propaganda against the regime.”

It is worth noting that in 2022 and 2023, Mamusta Saber Khodamoradi was summoned by the Special Clergy Court in Hamedan due to his support for the revolutionary movement “Woman, Life, Freedom.”
