According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, March 23, 2025, a civil activist identified as “Keyvan Minouei,” from the village of “Nay” in the Marivan district, was arrested by security forces.
Additionally, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, four other citizens were arrested, including “Chalak Pirouzi,” a 19-year-old from the village of “Sardoush,” “Kaveh Dastan,” an environmental activist and member of the Chia Sabz Association of Marivan , “Mohammad Nikpay,” a 28-year-old, and “Keyhan Tadbiri,” an 18-year-old, all from the village of “Nay” in the Marivan district. They were also detained by security forces.
Furthermore, on Friday, March 21, 2025, two brothers named “Bilal and Tahsin Dadras” from the village of “Sardoush” in the Marivan district were arrested by security forces and taken to an unknown location.
According to the reports, these arrests are related to the Nowruz celebrations and were carried out by security forces without presenting any legal documentation.
