According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, a Kurdish refugee identified as Ayoub Sheikhepur (Saadat), originally from Sardasht (Rabat), was violently attacked by a group of unidentified individuals in Lausanne, Switzerland, last month.
In an interview with Hana, Ayoub’s brother, Saman Shirgeh, stated:
“My brother was going about his daily routine when, based on some information, he was severely beaten by certain extremist individuals. His condition was so serious that he was hospitalized for some time.”
Regarding further details, Saman Shirgeh added:
“Three weeks after the incident, Swiss police announced that the attackers were members of extremist groups and had asked Ayoub not to publicize the matter. However, my brother became angry and rejected their request.”
Saman Shirgeh also reported that he has had no information about his brother’s whereabouts for more than five days. Based on certain images he has received, he believes that his brother has been detained by the police.
Hana Human Rights Organization expresses deep concern over the disappearance of Ayoub Sheikhepur and urges Swiss authorities to immediately provide information on his situation. It is important to note that Hana cannot independently verify the authenticity of the videos received regarding this case.
