Hana: On Saturday, January 11, 2025, an environmental activist identified as Zhian Miri, a resident of Tangisar village near Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Miri was detained in the Mesnaw neighborhood of Sanandaj by security forces without a judicial warrant.
It is worth noting that as of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reason for his arrest or the charges brought against this environmental activist.
