In Orumiyeh, a Kurdish citizen was arrested after being summoned to the Revolutionary Court

According to colleagues of the Hana Human Rights Organization: On Monday, August 12, 2024, a 39-year-old citizen named “Samad Shabouei,” from the village of Shahvaneh in the Oshnavieh district, was arrested by security forces after being summoned to the Revolutionary Court in Orumiyeh. He was subsequently transferred to the city’s prison.

It is worth noting that he was previously arrested on August 21, 2023, and after completing the interrogation process, he was transferred to Orumiyeh Prison. Eventually, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, he was temporarily released on bail of three billion tomans until the completion of legal proceedings.

It is also noteworthy that Samad Shabouei is the brother of "Siamand Shabouei," a member of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, who was assassinated by Quds Force agents in the city of Erbil, located in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
