According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Saturday, August 17, 2024, a telecommunications worker identified as Hamed Sarafrazi, a 43-year-old from Saqqez, lost his life due to electrocution and a fall from a telecommunications tower while working on a tower located on the Tarkhanabad road, a suburb of Baneh.
Hamed Sarafrazi was married and the father of two children. According to a source, after being transferred to Salahuddin Hospital in Baneh, he succumbed to his injuries due to the severity of the wounds he sustained.
