According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, June 16, 2024, the first trial session of Wrisha Moradi and the second trial session of Pakhshan Azizi were held in Tehran.

Wrisha Moradi, a member of the Free Women's Society of Eastern Kurdistan (KJAR), was transferred from the women's ward of Evin Prison to Branch 15 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Tehran yesterday to attend her trial session.

The first trial session of Wrisha Moradi, scheduled for April 9 of this year, was canceled due to the absence of the second judge.

Previously, on August 1, 2023, Ms. Moradi was abducted and forcibly disappeared by government forces.

It is worth mentioning that Pakhshan Azizi, a political activist from Mahabad and a graduate of social work from Allameh Tabataba'i University in Tehran, was also arrested by security forces on August 4, 2023, and transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison.
