According to Hana Human Rights Organization, on June 6, 2022, three other workers were killed and injured in a work accident in the town of Golsh, Urmia.
Hana's colleagues identified the two workers who lost their lives as "Shayan Farhoudi – son of Genghis and Jahangir Farhoudi – son of Ibrahim" from the village of "Qaralar Nazlu", and a third was seriously injured and is receiving medical treatment.
The workers reportedly fell from the elevator while working.
Yesterday, another worker in Urmia, named Borhan Lashgari, died in a work accident.
