According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Mahan Rostami lost his life in the Dowlatabad neighborhood of Kermanshah as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
