The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Sunday, 28 Dey 1404 (January 18, 2026), a Kurdish citizen identified as Ashkan Mardani, 20 years old and a resident of Abdanan County in Ilam Province, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Mardani was arrested at his family home by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant or legal documentation.
It should be noted that since the time of his arrest, no information has been made available regarding the reasons for his detention, his current condition, or his place of detention.
